Accessibility
It is a bit of a stroll from the coach park to the House and Christmas Market, so I have reserved a number of places for the shuttle bus for those who might need it – priority will be given to those with blue badges. I understand that the buses are fully accessible; each bus has ramps and dedicated space for wheelchairs. Buses run from the car park to the North Fountain, returning via the Stables and back to the car park. There is an additional charge of £2.00 for the shuttle bus - it is free for blue badge holders. If you are a blue badge holder, please tick the appropriate box on the booking form.

Beth Chatto OBE was an award-winning plants woman, author and lecturer. She took an overgrown wasteland of brambles, parched gravel and boggy ditches, transforming it using plants adapted by nature to thrive in different conditions: ‘right plant, right place’. An inspirational, informal garden has been developed over the years.
There are five main areas in the garden, all dealing with challenging soils and aspects - Gravel Garden, Water Garden, Reservoir Garden, Woodland Garden and the Scree Garden. Beth's is a garden for plant lovers and whilst it's not the biggest, at around 7 acres, it is beautiful. |
