“The lesson I have thoroughly learnt, and wish to pass on to others, is to know the enduring happiness that the love of a garden gives.” Gertrude Jekyll
Introduction Our coach outings to gardens and garden shows are enjoyed by all who join them and are seen by the committee as an important feature of CSGGA. Not only do these trips enable us to be inspired by beautiful gardens, they are also a great way to meet old friends and make new ones.

Outings for 2020:
If it wasn't for the advice from the Government, the trip on Wednesday, 29th April would have been – Tulip time – Pashley Manor including a guided tour with Caxton House Gardens in the afternoon with cream tea.
For a change, and to accommodate those of our members who work during the week, we hope to offer a Saturday visit on July 25th: to the National Memorial Arboretum including Plant Hunters Fair and another garden.
Beth Chatto’s garden is on the list for Thursday 20th August.
Our RHS visit is to be Wisley in October. We are undecided on whether to offer a Christmas trip but if you have any suggestions, do let us know.
